Rumer Willis joining ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4

Pretty Little Liars has debuted its first Season 4 Footage  Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is headed to Rosewood in the upcoming fourth season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Willis, who recurred on The CW’s 90210, will play Zoe, organizer of a worldwide charity, in one episode with the potential to appear in more. She is described as the type of girl who will change the world and keep her sense of humor at the same time. Her episode is slated to air in late July.

The new season of Pretty Little Liars picks up as the Liars strive to make sense of the mysterious “Red Coat,” seen in the season three finale, and what plans he or she may have in store for them. A Ravenswood spinoff (with Pretty Little Liars regular Tyler Blackburn moving to the new show) will also debut in October, with the new Pretty Little Liars episodes introducing the town and its mystery.

Rumer to star in For the Record: Baz Luhrmann

Rumer Willis will hit the stage in For the Record: Baz Luhrmann, a theater adaptation weaving together four of the director’s films. She will play the role of Juliet from Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.

The show debuted last year and is back to celebrate the third anniversary of the Los Angeles-based live concert series For the Record, which brings film soundtracks to life on stage. Other For the Record performances have included music from the films of Robert Zemeckis, Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese.

Willis filled the role after Lindsey Gort (who starred in For the Record: Scorsese) left to join the cast of The CW’s The Carrie Diaries, on which she plays a young Samantha Jones. Ginifer King (Nickelodeon’s Haunted Hathaways) and Jackie Seiden (Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys) have gone on from the theater series to book TV and movie roles. Molly Ringwald, Tracie Thoms and Sutton Foster also have performed at the space in the past months.
Held at Griffith Park’s Rockwell: Table & Stage, the Luhrmann adaptation was created by Shane Scheel, Christopher Lloyd Bratten and Anderson Davis and features songs from the director’s 1992 debut Strictly Ballroom, 1996′s Romeo + Juliet, 2001′s Moulin Rouge! and this year’s The Great Gatsby, including “Sparkling Diamonds,” “Lady Marmalade” and “$100 Bill.”

Joining Willis in the cast is Rescue Me’s Milena Govich, Glee’s Lindsay Pearce and Smash’s Derek Ferguson.

Previews begin Aug. 15, with the official opening set for Aug. 22. Weekly performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. through Oct. 19. Tickets start at $25.

Daddy Bruce supports Rumers Singing

Bruce Willis came out to support Rumer on Tuesday night! The Die Hard dad was spotted at The Sayers Club, catching a live performance from his oldest daughter Rumer Willis! She’s been singing at the Hollywood hotspot on a weekly basis!

Bruce arrived around 9pm and sipped on some vodka sodas in the front room bar. He got to have a man-to-man convo with Rumer’s boyfriend Jayson Blair while she did her sound check! And before Rumer took the stage, she even rubbed her dad’s bald head for good luck!

Aww!

Rumer’s set list included songs from Adele and Beyoncé. Later, little sister Scout Willis got up and sang backups on Mama Told Me Not To Come! Well, we doubt Demi Moore had a problem with Scout showing her big sis some support! Haha! And even though Mama D couldn’t be there, Bruce recorded the wholeshow on his camera phone. The bestie-exies can watch their little girl’s show together whenever they want!

Rumer Willis Joins Rosamund Pike in ‘Return to Sender’

Camryn Manheim, Rumer Willis and Illeana Douglas have joined the cast of indie feature Return to Sender.

Rosamund Pike, Shiloh Fernandez and Nick Nolte are starring in the psychological thriller being directed by Fouad Mikati and currently shooting in New Orleans. Holly Wiersma and Candice Abela are producing. Keir O’Donnell, Stephen Grush, Ian Barford, Alexi Wasser, and Scout Taylor-Compton are also on the call sheet.

The plot centers on a meticulous small-town nurse (Pike) who falls victim to a life-altering event after she goes on a blind date with a man (Fernandez) who turns out not to be who he says he is. She must find the strength and courage to rebuild her life and return to her former self.

Manheim and Willis are playing Pike’s co-workers… exciting!
